Our client, a renowned regional healthcare provider, is seeking a contract IT Technical Project Manager .
Location : Seattle, WA (Hybrid Remote)

Summary :
The IT Technical Project Manager will engage fully with assigned Construction Project Managers, Integration Project Managers, and Project Coordinators throughout the Planning, Design, and Construction phases. This role requires close partnership with Architects, Designers, Construction Vendors, Electrical / Mechanical Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that technology is captured correctly and meets IT standards and business requirements. The IT Technical Project Manager will work closely with various technology teams, including Desktop, Network, Telecom / Voice, Audio Video, and IT Security, serving as their representative in all project-related activities.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating technical competence.
- Minimum of five (5) years managing complex information technology infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge and experience with the Project Management Life Cycle (Initiate, Plan & Organize, Design [Schematic and Detail], Implement, and Close) and related project artifacts.
- Expertise in specific technology areas, including Desktop (workstation technology components, imaging, deployment), Network (network security solutions, access points, low voltage, port mapping, firewalls, MDF / IDF / consolidation points), Telecom / Voice (VOIP, analog, wireless), Audio Video (video conferencing components), and IT Security (security cameras, blue safety call boxes, Milestone systems).
- Ability to read and articulate technology requirements on blueprints for network / low voltage needs.
- Strong construction knowledge, understanding the building process from the ground up, and ability to advocate and articulate IT requirements throughout all construction phases.
- Proficiency with MS Project and / or Smartsheet, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Visio, SharePoint, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of waterfall and agile project management methodologies.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills across various levels of personnel and diverse audiences.
- Ability to engage confidently with various organizational levels on project-related issues and handle complex and political environments effectively.

Compensation :
Estimated compensation for this role is widely dependent upon candidates' skills and experience level and ranges from $50.00 to $80.00 per hour.
