Our client, a leading and innovative advanced technology company, is seeking a Product Manager to lead the development and integration of the Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM) module in Oracle Fusion. This role requires a strategic problem solver with strong ERP Product Management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive projects in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Greater Orange Country, CA; Hybrid onsite in-office. Travel options available for non-local candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the solution design and execution for the Projects to Close (PTC) workstream within the Oracle Fusion ERP transformation program.
- Capture business requirements necessary to inform product design, including:
- Project template definition
- Project planning and controls
- Project execution including resource loading and cost management
- Project billing and revenue recognition
- Project integration including all upstream/downstream process integration requirements with OTC, DTB and RTR
- Drive the definition of PTC product requirements and support the business in the development of processes and systems that drive project execution and financial closure.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle PPM capabilities, leveraging recent experience and industry knowledge to advise the team and leadership.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify gaps, risks, and dependencies related to PTC processes and Oracle ERP functionality.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, communicate progress, and ensure timely delivery of all milestones related to the PTC workstream.
Key Deliverables:
- At the conclusion of the design phase, the requirements will be packaged into several deliverables, which will include:
- Business process requirements
- Solution design documents
- Functional specifications
- Technical specifications
- Unit and E2E test scripts
- End user training documents
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or Solution Architect with a focus on the Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM) module in Oracle Fusion transformations.
- Strong background in project execution and financial systems, with deep understanding of Project-to-Close (PTC) solutions in the context of Oracle Fusion ERP deployments.
- Demonstrated expertise in Oracle ERP, particularly Oracle Fusion Cloud, and the integration of PTC/PPM with other business functions (OTC, DTB).
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize ERP processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in leading projects in dynamic, fast-moving environments with limited resources.
- Experience in industries like defense, aerospace, or manufacturing is a plus.
Estimated hourly compensation for this is between $70.00 to $90.00 per hour.
