Sr. Oracle Security Administrator

Our client, a leading and innovative advanced technology company, is seeking an Oracle Fusion Security Administrator to manage roles, authorizations, and access controls within Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. This role will play a critical part in ensuring compliance, minimizing risk, and optimizing user access within ERP, SCM, and other Fusion modules.

Location: Greater Orange Country, CA; Hybrid onsite in-office. Travel options available for non-local candidates.
Duration: 3-6 Month Contract to Hire

Key Responsibilities:

<>Security & Role Management:

• Design and manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) within Oracle Fusion, ensuring secure and compliant user access.

• Define, configure, and maintain job roles, duty roles, abstract roles, and privilege assignments across Fusion applications.

• Implement and monitor Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) and Oracle Risk Management Cloud to enhance security and compliance.

• Conduct security audits, enforce Segregation of Duties (SoD) policies, and mitigate risks.

<>Collaboration & Compliance:

• Work with business and IT teams to manage user provisioning, role mappings, and authentication methods (SSO, MFA, LDAP, etc.).

• Ensure compliance with SOX, GDPR, NIST, and other regulatory requirements for cloud security.

• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents related to roles and authorizations within Oracle Fusion Cloud.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing roles, authorizations, and security policies in Oracle Fusion Cloud.

• Expertise in Oracle Fusion Applications Security, including Financials, SCM, Procurement (incl. Supplier Portal), and HCM modules.

• Strong understanding of Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS), Oracle Risk Management Cloud, and Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls.

• Experience with SaaS security best practices, compliance frameworks, and cloud access management.

• Familiarity with SSO, MFA, LDAP, and OAuth-based authentication methods.

• Preferred: Certifications such as Oracle Cloud Security, CISSP, or CISA.

Estimated hourly compensation for this is between $50.00 to $100.00 per hour DOE.
