Description
The Farmers Daughter Restaurant at Normandy Farm Hotel & Conference Center is seeking a qualified individual who is interested in working in an upscale hospitality environment. An exemplary work ethic, meticulous attention to detail and a passion for providing superior customer service are necessary for all applicants.
This is a full-time PM Shift position to include a full benefits package Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Paid time off, life insurance and 401k match. Must have open availability to work any given day of the week to include weekends and holidays.
JOB SUMMARY
Line Cook would be responsible for preparing food in our Farmers Daughter a La Carte kitchen which includes, but is not limited to Grilling, Frying, Sauting and preparing hot hors d oeuvres. We are looking for candidates that are organized, responsible, have a positive demeanor, and are team players.
- Attends and participates in all training sessions and team meetings
- Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others while listening and responding in an appropriate manner
- Prepares all items required for line and special function purposes
- Carefully follows standard house recipes when preparing food
- Serves items in accordance with established portions and presentation standards
- Always maintains a clean and organized workstation
- Properly stores all food products in appropriate storage areas
- Follow instructions and adhere to all procedures and company policies while maintaining a high standard of conduct
- Notifies and reports any problems or concerns to management
- Consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling practices
- Cleans and locks up according to prescribed procedures

- Reports to Sous Chef
