Who we are looking for – A successful candidate will have construction background, with past experience as a Subcontract Administrator or Project Coordinator (or similar position.) They will have proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with varied clients and personalities.
Join our incredible accounting team as our newest Project Control Specialist.
The Duties:
- Prepare subcontracts and engineering agreements, review the scope of work, and enter them into the database by the date requested
- Process subcontracts, engineering agreements, purchase orders, and change orders within the accounting/construction software
- Compliance tracking
- Tracking progress on approvals of subcontracts, engineering agreements, and change orders internally and externally
- Gathering and recording AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) regulations such as permit processes, application fees, zoning requirements, and design codes specific to the appropriate city/county/state
- Conditional and unconditional waivers for both subcontractors and clients
- Detailed subcontract progress billing
- Detailed client progress billing – willing to train
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Construction job costing knowledge required
- Detail oriented
- Confidentiality
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work with co-workers, clients, subcontractors, and vendors in a professional manner.
- Strong Excel Experience preferred
- Spectrum and Procore experience preferred
