Job Details
Hansen Talent Group is seeking several strong Java Developers to join an expanding team out of Columbia, SC. The ideal candidate will be able to obtain a US government clearance after date of hire and have in-depth experience supporting full stack java enterprise applications.
The Java Engineer will be responsible for full stack development of enterprise applications, supporting large scale projects to minimize technical debt and enhance client applications.
Duties:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and business system analysts to understand business objectives and define technical specifications.
- Design and develop complex code using React, Javascript, HTML/CSS, and Java.
- Develop APIs and analyze integrations to improve application performance across the client environment.
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes for AWS hosted applications as well as applications running with on-prem Linux environments.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines for deployments.
- Support architecture conversations for application migrations and re-designs, providing recommendations to the architect based on system knowledge.
- Manage unit testing of code, analyzing and debugging code as needed before sending to QA and production.
- Mentor junior developers.
Qualifications:
- In-depth experience developing and supporting enterprise Java applications
- Hands-on experience with React front ends, Java backends as well as SQL
- Willing to work onsite as needed
