POSITION SUMMARY The Business Development Analyst -Trainee will develop, drive, and support the implementation of business development initiatives and company strategic projects to develop the business, expand market share and pursue aggressive growth targets. Furthermore, the position will actively support the development, implementation, monitoring, communication and reporting of our strategy plans and its initiatives. The role must stay abreast of changes in the market conditions environment to best serve the objectives of the organization and adjusts plans accordingly. Furthermore, the position will drive the deployment and execution of continuous improvement efforts to improve processes and organizational performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Identify growth potentials in existing market segment and identify new business opportunities. Support Sales Leadership Team in the implementation of growth initiatives.
- Actively support development of short-, mid- and long-term strategy plans as well as deployment, monitoring and reporting of initiatives
- Lead market analysis and competitor benchmarking to inform our business plans
- Support strategic, cross-functional projects, manage budgets, communication, timelines and ensure the desired milestones are reached on time and within budget.
- Responsible to further develop our Sales Excellence initiative which provides a planning toolbox and approach for our sales teams
- Drive continuous improvement efforts throughout the organization
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Fluent in English
- Ability to read, interpret and effectively analyze headquarters project briefs, business reports, legal documents, financials, and marketing concepts/campaigns/briefs in English and/or German.
- Ability to respond to all levels of leadership, external vendors, customers, common inquiries and requests.
- Ability to effectively present information to top leadership & management, vendors, agencies, internal/external partners, public/community groups/members.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Strong project management skills in ideating, leading, or working on cross-functional projects
- Ability to solve problems and motivate others to find creative solutions to problems

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- BA in Business or related field with at least 1-2 years of experience in strategy, project management and with cross-functional assignments
- Solid ability to analyze data to manage ROI for positive results
- Experience leading & working with cross functional teams
- Exceptional communication, analytical and project management skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- 35 % travel required related to area of responsibility incl. international travel to our HQ in Germany

- 1. The physical requirements of this position are as follows;
