Shop worker-Fabrication Department
We are a 50-year-old, well-established manufacturer of high precision machinery for the Navy. We are seeking a hard-working individual to work in our metal fabrication department.
Duties & Responsibilities include
- Light machine work (drill press, lathe, cutters, chopper, etc.)
- Grinding/Cleaning-large metal castings & fabricated frames
- Brazing, welding, soldering, fabrication
- Keep area organized, neat and clean
- Adherence to technical, quality, safety and conduct policies
- Various duties as assigned by foreman
Qualifications/skills
- High energy, self-motivated
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- High School (or equivalent) education
- Ability to read prints
