The Tax Practice Group is seeking a tax associate with 4 or more years of tax experience. Ideal candidates will have experience handling a broad variety of federal, state and local tax matters as well as with startup tax issues, including qualified small business stock. Knowledge of general corporate law and M&A transactions is beneficial. Tax LL.M. preferred. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team with an energetic practice spanning the nation. While we offer the flexibility to work remotely (hybrid), the preference is for the person filing this position to be based in Hanson Bridgett’s San Francisco or Walnut Creek offices. The annual base compensation range for this California position is between $210,000 and $300,000. Placement within the salary range depends upon a number of factors including, but not limited to years of experience and professional skills required for this role.
Ideal candidates will have a distinguished academic background and impeccable references. CA Bar required. Strong research, writing and communication skills, high level of analytical skills as well as excellent and highly adaptable communication skills are required. We seek intelligent, entrepreneurial, team players who are practical, problem solvers, ambitious, organized and detail oriented and are looking towards partnership with Hanson Bridgett.
