Job Summary
Hanto Clarke is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects—from groundbreaking to closeout. This role is responsible for managing schedules, budgets, resources, and subcontractor coordination, while ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction. Project Managers play a key role in maintaining strong relationships with Owners, architects, and trade partners—delivering every project with clarity, excellence, and our brand promise of Building Peace of Mind. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a strong background in construction management and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project planning, including contract review, handoff meetings, permit coordination, and buyout management.
- Review design documents and resolve constructability issues in collaboration with the project team.
- Develop and manage project schedules, submittals, RFIs, and utility coordination.
- Coordinate subcontractors, testing agencies, and vendors to maintain quality and meet deadlines.
- Monitor progress through daily Superintendent check-ins, weekly team meetings, and OAC meetings.
- Prepare Owner pay applications and change orders; ensure accurate review and timely processing.
- Track job costs, update projections, and ensure alignment with budget goals.
- Conduct regular site visits to oversee safety, quality, and construction progress.
- Maintain documentation including daily reports, safety logs, and quality control records.
- Prepare weekly Owner updates and maintain clear, proactive communication with all stakeholders.
- Lead project closeout and post-project reviews to support continuous improvement.
- Uphold and promote Hanto Clarke’s commitment to Building Peace of Mind in every phase of project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing commercial construction projects
- Proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and cost control
