Job Summary
Hanto Clarke is seeking a skilled and motivated Superintendent to lead onsite construction efforts across commercial projects. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day jobsite operations, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence while contributing to a collaborative team culture. Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily jobsite coordination and supervise subcontractors to ensure consistent progress, safety, and quality.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient jobsite—proactively identifying and resolving field issues.
- Review and interpret project documents, including design drawings, submittals, RFIs, subcontracts, and change orders.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to align on schedule, scope, and budget goals.
- Assist in preparing RFIs and reviewing responses for accuracy and field implementation.
- Support project startup and closeout by completing assigned checklists and documentation.
- Coordinate required inspections with internal teams and local authorities.
- Manage deliveries, tools, rentals, and testing services as needed to support construction activities.
- Document progress through daily reports, photos, and safety and quality checklists.
- Submit timely timesheets and expense reports.
- Participate in daily huddles, weekly progress meetings, and Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings.
- Provide feedback on subcontractor performance and support the qualification process for future partnerships.

Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of onsite supervision experience in commercial construction
- Strong working knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, and scheduling
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications
- Proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and cost control
