Scope of the Project
The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure in a cloud and on-premises environment. The candidate will work closely with IT security, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure network reliability, performance, and compliance with industry standards.
Live Sessions & Collaboration
Daily Standups : Coordination with team members to discuss ongoing tasks and issues.
Client Meetings : Interaction with clients for network requirements and project updates.
Training Sessions : Continuous learning on emerging networking technologies.
Incident Response : Participation in real-time troubleshooting sessions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
System Administration (10%)
Managing and maintaining network hardware and software.
Ensuring optimal performance and uptime of network infrastructure.
Managing network configurations and backups.
Design & Implementation of Network Infrastructure (15%)
Designing and deploying scalable and secure network solutions.
Implementing network segmentation and access control measures.
Configuring routers, switches, and wireless access points.
Manage Network Security (15%)
Configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
Ensuring compliance with security policies and best practices.
Implementing Zero Trust security models and SASE solutions.
Troubleshooting (15%)
Diagnosing and resolving network performance issues.
Utilizing monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Wireshark, and Splunk for analysis.
Working on live network incidents and escalations.
Disaster Recovery & Planning (5%)
Developing network redundancy and failover strategies.
Creating and testing disaster recovery plans.
Implementing backup solutions for critical configurations.
Vendor Management (5%)
Collaborating with vendors for hardware and software procurement.
Managing vendor relationships and support contracts.
Evaluating and integrating third-party solutions.
Updates & Upgrades (5%)
Applying firmware and software updates to network devices.
Ensuring network devices are running the latest stable versions.
Planning network refresh cycles and hardware replacements.
Monitoring (10%)
Implementing network monitoring tools for real-time analysis.
Tracking network performance and availability.
Setting up alerts for potential threats and outages.
Team Leadership (5%)
Mentoring junior engineers and supporting team development.
Leading network projects and deployments.
Providing training sessions on best practices and emerging technologies.
Policy Deployment & Development (5%)
Creating and enforcing network access policies.
Defining security protocols for remote access and data protection.
Developing standard operating procedures for network operations.
Compliance & Auditing (5%)
Ensuring compliance with industry standards like ISO, NIST, and HIPAA.
Conducting periodic network audits and vulnerability assessments.
Collaborating with cybersecurity teams for risk mitigation.
Documentation (5%)
Maintaining detailed network diagrams and documentation.
Creating SOPs for network changes and troubleshooting.
Documenting security incidents and remediation steps.
Client & Team Coordination
Work closely with internal IT teams, cloud engineers, and security teams.
Coordinate with third-party vendors and managed service providers.
Collaborate with clients to understand networking requirements and deliver solutions.
Work Itinerary
Monday - Friday (9 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM)
On-call rotation for emergency support
Occasional travel for on-site network deployment
Qualifications & Certifications
Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Certifications (Any 2 is mandatory to have) :
CCNA / CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Associate / Professional)
Palo Alto PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Security Engineer)
AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty
Fortinet NSE 4 or higher
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (Preferred)
VMware NSX-T Data Center Certification (Preferred)
Key Skills Required
Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols.
Expertise in network security and firewall management.
Experience with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Hands-on experience with network automation tools.
Proficiency in troubleshooting network and security incidents.
Experience in SD-WAN, VoIP, and load balancing solutions.
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
