Job Title: EHS Manager
Summary: We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to support our department and maintain a safe and compliant facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development, review, and implementation of EHS programs, maintaining EHS record-keeping systems, and responding to environmental incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, review, and implementation of EHS programs.
- Maintain EHS record-keeping systems.
- Respond to environmental incidents and assist with all abatement efforts through completion.
- Provide resources and information to production.
- Lead investigations of workplace accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS training programs.
- Review all written programs to ensure they are updated when personnel or physical changes affect those programs.
- Conduct employee safety training programs on topics such as hazard communication, emergency response, PPE usage, and environmental impact.
- Prepare government-mandated reports and ensure they are submitted in a timely manner.
- Identify workplace hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement corrective actions to minimize risks.
- Ensure compliance with hazardous waste activities, including storage containers, weekly hazardous waste container inspections, disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with all local, State, and Federal rules and regulations.
Managerial Responsibility:
This position has managerial responsibility.
Work Environment:
This job operates primarily in a professional office environment. Participation in events (trials, DOE, etc.) on the production floor is required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position.
Monday-Friday, core work hours 1st shift
Flexible hours to be available.
Must be available to work weekends when requested by Supervisor.
Travel:
Travel is minimal and primarily local.
Occasional out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Requirements:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced EHS Manager with:
- ~5 years' experience relevant to manufacturing/engineering degree preferred.
- ~ A relevant manufacturing/engineering degree preferred.
- ~ Extensive plant-level experience with significant proven man-management experience.
- ~ Technical capability and understanding.
- ~ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- ~ Excellent leadership and maintenance management skills.
- ~ Excellent interpersonal skills.
- ~ Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members.
- ~ Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- ~ Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
- ~ Competent in problem-solving, team building, planning, and decision-making.
