The Quality Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of Inspectors, CMM Operators, and NDT personnel to ensure assigned projects are completed as scheduled. This professional will assist the Quality Manager in the daily management of the Quality Department.

Reports to: Quality Manager
Responsibilities:

- Recommends inspection and test equipment as required.
- Performs training as required.
- Verifies Receiving; In-Process and Final Inspection functions are performed in a timely manner.
- Attends the Daily Production Meetings to ensure daily shipping schedules are adhered to.
- Ensures process and procedures defined in the Quality Management System (QMS) are understood, followed, and updated as necessary to maintain Quality System Approvals.
- Assists in Continuous Improvement Programs.
- Analyzes and interprets trends and executes improvements on key metrics.
- Assists Engineering in the development of product and process specifications.
- Ensures all products meet specification requirements and only compliant products move onto the next processing stage.
- Assists in the Corrective Action process as needed.
- Assists other departments in the completion of their Corrective Actions.
- Verifies corrective actions for effectiveness and timeliness of completion.
- Conducts root-cause analysis, corrective / preventive actions, and implements continuous improvement.
- Assists in PPAP, SPS or other customer specific product approval processes as required.
- Performs First Article Inspections and creates reports.
- Utilizes team approach and employee involvement effectively.
- Performs other related duties or responsibilities as requested or required, whether or not, specifically mentioned in this job description.
- Participates in training as required.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull at least 35 lbs.
- Work is usually performed in a combination of office and plant setting.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend, and move about our facility.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or associate degree or work experience equivalent.
- Must be a “US Person” as defined by US Government and able to work without restriction with ITAR related data.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervision experience.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Access.
- Working knowledge of inspection techniques and quality engineering practices in an aerospace environment a must.
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English at a functional level.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years’ experience in an AS9100 and / or NADCAP environment is preferred.
