Job Overview :
The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes within the organization. The role includes advising the Managing Director for recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance with labor laws, training and development, compensation, and organizational culture. The HR Manager will work closely with leadership to ensure that HR strategies align with business objectives and that the organization is a positive and productive place to work.
The HR Manager will also assist in community building within the workspace, ensuring member needs are attended to when the Community Manager is unavailable.
Key Responsibilities :
Recruitment & Onboarding :
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract, select, and hire talented individuals.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Ensure new hires are properly onboarded and integrated into the organization.
- Maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, job boards, and universities for talent sourcing.
- Maintain up to date information on compensation trends to advise CEO on proper compensation ranges for new hires
Employee Relations :
Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR matters and offer guidance on company policies, work-related conflicts, and performance issues.Manage employee complaints, grievances, and disputes in a confidential and professional manner.Foster a positive work environment and maintain a strong organizational culture.Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover trends to inform retention strategies.Performance Management :
Assist management in evaluation programs to ensure they are effective, fair, and aligned with organizational goals.Assist in setting performance goals, providing regular feedback, and facilitating employee development plans.Train managers on providing constructive performance feedback and managing underperformance.Compensation & Benefits :
Assist in managing compensation structures, ensuring that salaries, bonuses, and benefits are competitive and comply with market standards.Advise and assist benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.Conduct regular compensation reviews to ensure pay equity across the organization.Research and recommend employee incentive programs and reward systems.Compliance & Legal Responsibilities :
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations including wage and hour laws, employee rights, and workplace safety standards.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and any changes that impact the organization.Handle any disciplinary or legal matters involving employees, working with legal counsel when necessary.Manage employee documentation including contracts, personnel files, and employment agreements in accordance with legal requirements.HR Policy Development & Administration :
Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures in line with industry standards and company goals.Ensure that all HR policies are consistently applied and understood by employees.Regularly review and update employee handbooks and manuals.Implement and manage HR systems and software to streamline HR processes such as attendance, payroll, and performance management.Community Management :

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in [industry or relevant sector].Strong knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.Proven track record in talent management, employee relations, and HR compliance.Understanding of Korean Language preferred but not requiredWorking Conditions :
Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5PM on siteOccasional travel for recruitment events or training purposes.Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner.Salary & Benefits :
