IT Analyst

Hanwha Ocean is embarking on a journey to transition from a traditional shipbuilder to an Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, and Operation (EPCI(O)) solution provider, offering products such as FPSO, FLNG, Offshore Renewables and other Floating Production Units.

The Offshore Business Division recently expanded its global footprint by establishing a new Global Business Centers in North America and Europe with the intention of becoming a project-centric and client-driven business organization. This transformation aims to offer enhanced project execution and knowledge-driven operational models by bridging the upstream culture of three continents across Asia, Europe, and America.

Summary

We are looking for a skilled IT Support Analyst to join our team and provide exceptional IT user support while managing critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting Microsoft Office 365, Azure AD user management, IT asset management, and server virtualization environments (Nutanix and VMware). This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and supporting end-users in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Accountabilities

• Provide first-line and escalated support for Microsoft Office 365 applications, including troubleshooting issues and assisting with user queries.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and groups in Azure Active Directory.
• Ensure timely resolution of IT support tickets and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, including hardware and software.
• Oversee the lifecycle of IT assets (procurement, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning).
• Implement best practices for asset tracking and reporting to optimize resource utilization.
• Manage and maintain server virtualization platforms such as Nutanix and VMware.
• Perform capacity planning, performance optimization, and resource allocation for virtualized environments.
• Ensure high availability of virtualized servers through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and disaster recovery planning.
• Monitor the health of IT systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
• Apply patches, updates, and upgrades to servers, virtualization platforms, and other IT systems as needed.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to implement new technologies or improve existing systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3 years of experience in IT support or system administration roles.
• Proficiency in managing Microsoft Office 365 applications and Azure Active Directory.
• Hands-on experience with Nutanix (AHV) and VMware virtualization platforms.
• Strong understanding of IT asset management processes and tools.
• Familiarity with Windows Server environments and basic networking concepts.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with users at all levels.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Enterprise Administrator Expert.
• Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) certification.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification.
• Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell).
