DATA ANALYST

SUMMARY
The Data Analyst will collect, process, and analyze large datasets to discover useful information, suggest conclusions, and support decision-making related to construction project execution and commercial management.
This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Business Process or another management personnel that the team lead may designate. This position is in Ankeny, IA, and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm or 9:00 am to 6:00 pm local time. Overtime and weekend working hours will be required as needed. This position is expected to travel up to 10%.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop Power BI reports and dashboards for organizational leadership.
- Automate workflows and integrate within existing project management software.
- Ensure that all data used is accurate, consistent, and reliable.
- Cleanse data and scrutinize computer-generated reports and outputs to identify and rectify errors.
- Create and maintain processes to generate accurate and timely reports that help stakeholders understand and act on key data insights.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements.
- Attend work regularly and punctually as scheduled, and comply with the Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Company Policies & Procedures.
- Regular attendance, in accordance with the company’s attendance policy, is a requirement for this position.
- Perform other duties and special projects assigned by Management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A high school diploma or GED is required, and a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or IS/IT is preferred.
- Possess a solid foundation in SQL, Python, and Power Query.
- Experience with data management, analytics, and deployment of system solutions.
- Ability to automate workflows and build integrations within existing project management software.
- Ability to simplify and summarize complex topics for non-technical audiences and translate non-technical stakeholder needs into technical solutions.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage change and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Travel is up to 10% as needed
