SUMMARY
Hanwha Qcells is seeking an experienced Interior Site Manager to oversee the construction, fit-out, and finishing of building and facility interiors. This role requires expertise in managing interior construction projects, ensuring high-quality execution, adherence to design specifications, and compliance with industry regulations. The Interior Site Manager will work closely with architects, designers, contractors, and internal teams to successfully deliver projects on time and within budget.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of interior construction, finishing, and fit-out work within buildings and facilities.
- Design Coordination: Collaborate with architects, designers, and engineers to ensure that interior construction aligns with project goals and aesthetics.
- Construction Management: Supervise contractors and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
- Material & Vendor Coordination: Manage procurement of interior materials, fixtures, and finishes while coordinating with suppliers for timely deliveries.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all interior construction activities comply with building codes, OSHA regulations, and industry best practices.
- Quality Control & Finishing: Conduct site inspections to ensure interior finishes meet design specifications and quality expectations.
- Testing & Commissioning: Oversee the final inspection, defect resolution, and handover of interior spaces for operational use.
- Schedule & Budget Management: Track project progress, manage costs, and implement necessary adjustments to maintain schedules and budgets.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with project owners, internal teams, and external partners to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Identify and address potential construction challenges affecting project quality, cost, and timelines.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of project progress, contracts, permits, inspections, and compliance reports.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in interior construction and site management, preferably in commercial or industrial facilities.
- Strong understanding of interior fit-out processes, material selection, and finishing techniques.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations, local building codes, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and project management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, teams, and deadlines effectively.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in corporate offices, retail spaces, high-tech manufacturing, or hospitality interior construction.
- Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), LEED AP, or NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification).
- Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Lean Construction principles.
