About the Role
Set sail on your professional career development journey with Hapag-Lloyd, Region North America (RNA) this summer. Place your sails in position to “catch the wind” and be propelled into an endless sea of development experiences and networking building with us this summer. This internship will provide a high-level overview of the maritime, shipping and container industry. It will also provide you with a deep dive, focus, in a specific area, within our Sales, Business Administration, Operations or US Flag division. The intimate design of this internship will facilitate opportunities to build relationships, network, have up close and personal interactions with various Senior Leaders and execute a project to maximize exposure while showcasing proficient skills.
Responsibilities
- Seek to understand the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product
goals, and all other aspects of the business. - Lean into the assigned division of responsibility and provides ideas to grow and improve the
business. - Accepts designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present
final project during the internship. - Engages with customers or clients and provides service and/or sales.
- Provide suggestions to management for improving customer service and internal processes.
- Learns and becomes proficient on internal
- Assists in creating performance reports.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- College students - Preferably in 3rd or 4th year of college undergraduate or grad program
