Shipping and Receiving Warehouse Associate (5 Years Exp)

Summary:

In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to conform to the following:

· Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.

· Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Receive goods via UPS/FEDEX/LTL, including removing skids from LTL truck

· Verify counts of products received and physically move them into inventory locations, including using ERP software for locations

· Correctly count and pick products from inventory locations using ERP computer software

· Physically count and move product to the press for production

· Maintain physical inventory counts, including knowledge of cycle counts and annual physical inventories

· Utilize UPS Wordship and FEDEX Ship Manager for small package shipping

· Prepare/Manage/Store UPS/FEDEX daily shipments

· Load LTL trucks for outgoing shipments

· Manage LTL pallets; building/storing/removing

· Must be able to perform repetitive duties for 8 hours to meet daily deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

· HEAVY LIFTING, OVERHEAD REACHING, HEAVY PUSHING, CLIMBING and STANDING for 8 hours per day is required

· Must speak/read/write English

Qualifications:

· Education: High School Diploma/GED

Experience:

· At least five (5) years previous experience in a Warehouse setting using shipping and receiving skills

· At least three (3) years ERP or inventory software management experience

· Working knowledge of WIP, FIFO, cycle counts and physical inventory

Skills:

· Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn other software

· Excellent communication skills

· Good organization and time management skills

· Comfort working in a fast-paced environment within a manufacturing facility

· Attention to detail

· Works well independently and does not need to be instructed what to do next

· Working knowledge of inventory systems, including WIP

· Working knowledge of physical inventory’s and cycle counts

Essential Requirements/% Of Time:

· Visual Activity requirements including color, depth perception and field vision. The employee is required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as: operates machines, inspect product for any flaws or inaccuracies, determine neatness and thoroughness.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
