What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Center Teller position at HAPO Community Credit Union Career Site?
HAPO is now accepting applications for a Full-Time Financial Center Teller in the Vancouver, WA area! We are seeking an individual who is ambitious, self-motivated and who strives to represent HAPO’s core commitment “Be in the Moment” and standard of service to “Defy Expectations” with our members, community as well as the team they are a part of. Ideal candidates will be quick learners, efficient and committed to delivering superior service. They will be a community-minded team-member who can represent the HAPO brand and assist in nurturing our growing member base.
Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to:
• Assist members with general account inquiries
• Identify additional products and services that may be beneficial to members
• Basic understanding of forgery/fraud procedures for checks, debit, credit cards ACH disputes
• Place stop payments on member checks
• Basic understanding of check cashing policy
• Full understanding of regulatory reporting requirements
• Full understanding required member disclosures
• Ability to accurately quote savings and loan rates
• Basic understanding of how to cash bonds
• Basic understanding of branch compliance and auditing
Desired Skill Sets and Knowledge:
• Ability to handle oneself in stressful situations
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize work
• Knowledge in basic math
Requirements
•High School Diploma or equivalent required
•Experience in customer service, cash handling, or sales desired
Schedule:
•Must be able to work 35-40 hours a week between the hours of 8:30am – 6:30pm M-F with Rotating Saturdays required.

Starting Pay Range (DOE): $18.00 - $23.43
Typically, selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint range, based on applicable experience and qualifications.
