Assistant Business Support Manager
Responsibility Summary:
- Applicant lead generation
- Maintain scheduling of caregivers
- Move applicants through interview process
- Orientation of new employees
- On-boarding and management of new caregivers
- Maintaining sufficient staffing
- Employee relations
- Assists in the initiation of new clients
- Complete new client assessments
- Marketing and relationship building
Responsibility Standards:.
- Maintain Scheduling of Caregivers
- Monitors scheduling system to assure accuracy and adjusts accordingly
- Arranges for caregiver coverage for sick calls and vacation time
- Maintains record of requested vacation time
- Enters records of absenteeism and cancellations in scheduling system.
- Gets approval for any OT prior to assigning shifts
- Move applicants through the Interview process Review potential applicants and complete pre-screening call
- Interview qualified applicants
- Complete reference checks
- Orientation of new employees Establish group or individual orientations
- Collect necessary outstanding documentation from employees
- On-boarding and management of new caregivers Enters new caregivers into systems (ersp, payroll)
- Maintaining sufficient staffing Continually monitor and address staffing needs
- Maintain a bench of caregivers
- The following goals are at a ratio of 50 clients per bench caregivers Maintain a bench of 6 caregivers for daytime hours
- Maintain a bench of 3 caregivers for evening hours
- Maintain a bench of 4 caregivers that can work weekends
- Employee relations Make recommendations for improvement, advancement
- Employee disciplinary actions Document in detail in ersp
- Termination of employee as needed in writing
- Exit interview of employee as able
- Initiation of new clients
- Assigns caregivers to new clients
- Communicates with family re: start of care
- Completing assessments as requested
- Other responsibilities as requested by owner
- Complete new client assessments
- Marketing and Relationship Building
a. Develop new referral sources in the community
b. Strengthen relationships with existing referral sources
c. Presentations (Fall Prevention, etc.)
d. Promote Happier at Home at health fairs and other events
30 service inquiry calls/website emails each month
25 referral source visits each month
Onboarding 5 new clients each month
Other duties as assigned

- Rotating weekends
- Weekends as needed
