The job description follows:
Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Reports To: Supervising Technician, Supervising Pharmacist, Staff Pharmacist
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Expedites prescription processing by performing all duties necessary and allowable by store policy or law.
- Receives new and refill prescription from customers for filling.
- Pulls labels from printer, obtains the appropriate medication from inventory and fills prescriptions accordingly.
- Prepares bingo cards following Buffalo Pharmacies protocol.
- Follows procedure when preparing ‘slappers’, pumps and supplies.
- Packs and prints delivery sheets.
- Understands different procedures for individual homes.
- Processes incoming orders from drug wholesaler.
- Assists in maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
- Follows store procedure and pharmacists direction to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
