What are the responsibilities and job description for the Music Culture Coordinator position at HAPPIER PEOPLE MANAGEMENT LLC?
We are looking for a Music & Culture Coordinator who will work closely with the Music & Culture Manager and Director to execute the musical and creative vision for all the venues by supporting the initiatives outlined by the Music Culture Director.
The Coordinator will assist the Music & Culture Director to maintain all internal communications, input all necessary data in reference to event bookings and artist hospitality plans, interface with production teams, initiate communication with artist agents and management team, execute marketing plan and develop schedule and support the Music Culture Department in all activities.
The Coordinator should have a passion for music, culture and organization. They must have a working knowledge of nightlife, live music, performance art, dance culture, fashion and culture. The role requires the highest level of organization, strong attention to detail, keen awareness of music trends, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion. The Coordinator should be a forward-thinking self-starter who takes initiative, is proactive, has a desire to get into the music and hospitality industry, is a team player, and understands the value of a high performance organization.
Responsibilities:
- Admin: Scheduling and auditing calls and meetings, meeting notes, monitor emails,
- Advancing: Insure artists have all necessary information for their shows/DJ sets, including permitting for PH
- Scheduling: Keeping all calendars up to date with new bookings, cancellations etc.
- Budgeting: Fill out P&L and budget documents for all activations.
- Marketing: Executing marketing plan internally and with partners, artists and promoters
- Tech and Hospitality: Communicating all tech and hospitality needs to AV/Tech and Operations team.
- Onsite: Attend Music Culture activations, assist Music Culture, AV/Tech and Operations team to make sure artists, staff and guests have the best experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven knowledge of music and entertainment environment
- Experience in music marketing a must
- Excellent admin skills (Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Monday.com)
- Experience in event planning and excecution
- Strong knowledge of various music genres and a keen understanding of their audiences - Excellent administration and communication skills.
- Creativity and an ability to think outside the box.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A passion for creating positive and uplifting cultural experiences.
