Service Writer / Advisor

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, coordinating vehicle maintenance and repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide them with a positive service experience
- Listen to customers' concerns and accurately document their vehicle issues
- Communicate with service technicians to understand the scope of work needed
- Prepare accurate estimates for repairs and services
- Explain repair recommendations to customers in a clear and understandable manner
- Coordinate with parts department to ensure timely delivery of required parts
- Schedule appointments and manage the service calendar effectively
- Follow up with customers throughout the repair process to provide updates
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Service Writer or similar role preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of RV / Trailer systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in computer systems and software applications related to service writing
- Knowledge of DMS software is a plus
- Sales experience is beneficial for upselling additional services or products
