Marketing Director, Creative

We are looking for a Marketing Director, Creative who brings unique ways to resonate with consumers and develops creative that grabs attention, increases memorability and grows our sales.
Role Responsibilities
- Own and elevate all aspects of Happy Egg’s brand identity – from our logo to packaging to digital assets – ensuring clear narratives about the quality differences of our eggs.
- Lead a team of two direct reports, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and professional growth.
- Manage creative budgets effectively, ensuring the best possible ROI on all creative investments.
- Drive content strategy and storytelling to deepen consumer engagement across social, digital, OOH, and in-store touchpoints.
- Collaborate with Sales and Trade Marketing teams to develop creative that drives in-store impact and retailer buy-in.
- Partner with Advertising to test and refine creative strategies that maximize effectiveness and brand reach.
- Lead the development and launch of new brand campaigns, ensuring alignment with company goals and values.
Required Skills or Experience
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, InDesign, and video editing software (such as Premiere Pro or After Effects).
- Strong storytelling and design skills, with the ability to translate brand strategy into compelling visuals and narratives.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor a creative team, ensuring alignment with company goals and culture.
- Experience managing freelancers and/or agencies, ensuring quality work, timeline and budget efficiency, and brand consistency.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Increasing aided and unaided brand awareness
- Consistently growing household penetration through compelling storytelling
- Growing units per store per week (USW)
- Boosting social engagement, ensuring content resonates with and activates the Happy Egg community to purchase.
- Improving video completion rates (VCR) on creative content, demonstrating stronger consumer interest.
- Reducing creative spend over time while increasing creative effectiveness, maximizing the efficiency of non-working marketing investments via cost per incremental unit (CPI).
