What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck Operator position at Happy Global?

Duties  Operate trucks for the delivery of goods across designated routes.  Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling of materials.  Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage.  Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance.  Navigate routes effectively while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.  Communicate with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.  Ensure that the truck is clean and well-maintained at all times.  Assist in the training of new drivers when required.

Experience  Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).  Familiarity with various types of trucks, including dump trucks and refrigerated trailers.  Experience in route driving and understanding of freight handling procedures.  Ability to operate flatbed trucks safely and efficiently.  Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to truck driving and freight transportation.  Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
