Happy Hall School is seeking a Full-Time Preschool Teacher.
JOB OVERVIEW
The Assistant Teacher at Happy Hall Schools is a key support role in our educational programs, assisting the Lead Teacher in providing nurturing care and enriching learning experiences to children. RESPONSIBILITIES
Child Supervision
- Assist the Lead Teacher in providing direct supervision to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Contribute to a nurturing, stimulating environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and intellectual development.
Support in Activity Planning and Implementation
- Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate learning and play activities, as directed by the Lead Teacher.
- Engage with children during planned activities to stimulate their curiosity, creativity, and foster a love of learning.
Educational Support
- Assist in delivering the curriculum set by the Lead Teacher, and support the children as they progress.
- Provide help to children during activities, ensuring they are engaged and understanding the material.
Classroom Maintenance
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe learning environment at all times.
- Help manage classroom resources and supplies, ensuring they are effectively utilized and replenished as necessary.
Family & Community Engagement
- Demonstrate patience, respect, and commitment to families, supporting the Lead Teacher in responding to their concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain professional and appropriate relationships with parents, teachers, and other staff.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and community events as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or high school graduate
- Must have 6 ECE units and enrolled/taking 6 additional units for a total of 12 units
- Experience and interest in working with children
- Being reliable and consistently punctual is a necessity
