Program Supervisor

Summary/Objective  
The Program Supervisor is responsible for running the day to day operation of a residential group home. Oversee the development and execution of Team Leads and DSP. Are responsible for ensuring that every aspect of the program is completed on time and within company polices. They assign milestones and develop reporting processes. Program supervisors also act as a liaison between the individuals working on the program and key stakeholders. 

Essential Functions 

 
Coaching and Training 

1. Train staff to know the routines, procedures, and protocols of your program 

1. Ensure staff have required trainings/certifications and that they stay up to date 

1. Train staff on the various support plans in place for all consumers in the program 

1. Two documented house meetings should be held each month led by the Program Supervisor in which all staff are required to attend per Maine Care requirement. 

1. Program Supervisors should lead a one on one documented quarterly supervision with each staff on their team.  Areas of improvement should be pointed out and a plan of improvement should be put into place. 

1. Consumer Care 

1. The Program Supervisor is responsible to plan and coordinate all daily activities at home and in the community; this is done by supervising and working hands on with the staff in supporting consumers at home and in the community. 

1. Program Supervisors should know each member’s PCP goals and work actively with the staff team to achieve/ or work towards those goals on a regular basis. 

1. Program Supervisors should know where each of their consumers and respective staff are at all times that they are working. 

1. Check in with your staff team regularly throughout the day to track if there is any change from the plan.  Changes should be approved by the Program Supervisor, Team Lead, Program Manager, or Operations Director beforehand. 

1. Assure consumers access the community daily with appropriate staffing to keep them safe.
