About us:
Our amazing team is looking for an addition to our team. We are looking for someone who loves to teach children, is patient, is a team player, adapts to change well, and is willing to go the extra mile to ensure our children get the best education possible. Requirements:
- Hands on teaching style is a must
- They must be able to lead a group of children (usually about 5) in a lesson prepared by the lead teacher
- assisting in meal prep, clean up, art, science, fine and gross motor skills, and WORK AS A TEAM.
- We currently need a person who is age 18 or older.
- Min. 2 Years of experiences
- Must have experience

Preferences:
- We prefer someone who has credits or a degree in education or early childhood education.
- We would prefer someone who has experience teaching preschool aged children.
- This job is very structured and we pride ourselves on providing a great education and kindergarten preparation.

Must be able to work with others in a small team, and with up to 20 preschoolers, aged 3-5 years old, adaptable to change is required. Also be able to work in our school age program.
Pay & Hours:
- Pay starts at $18.00 or more
- Pay can be adjusted based on experience and qualifications.
- Hours needed are in the 8 am - 6 pm range (hours are flexible and may change weekly and shifts vary).
- There will be hours available in the summer.
Summer Hire:
- Must be able to work with 2-3 other childcare workers while taking 30 kindergarten-5th graders on field trips daily for up to 8 hours a day.
- Must wear professional/modest swimwear and be IN THE WATER with kids when attending local pools.
- Must be able to be outside for up to 8 hours a day in the summer while facilitating field trips (mobius, local pools, hiking, local city centers, etc)
- DRIVERS must be over 25 years of age with crystal clear driving record and be able to drive a 14 passenger van and safely transport all children around the Spokane area.
Background check, fingerprints, TB test, 30-hour stars training, CPR/First Aid/BBP, and food handlers card are required after hire.
Clean "mom approved" appearance is a necessity for this position.
30-40 hours a week may lead into more hours.
FLEXIBILITY IS A MUST. EXPERIENCE IS A MUST.
The hours are anywhere in the 8:00 am - 6 pm range.
State Required License/Certification:
- Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
- 30 hours of STARS training is required within 30 days of hire
