Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. This role involves supporting lead teachers in implementing curriculum, managing classroom activities, and ensuring the safety and well-being of students.
Duties
- Assist in the development and implementation of engaging lesson plans and curriculum tailored to the needs of toddlers.
- Support lead teachers in managing classroom activities, including behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among students.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a collaborative learning environment.
- Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day.
- Observe and assess student progress, providing feedback to lead teachers regarding individual student needs.
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a private school or daycare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles, including curriculum development and lesson planning.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience in behavior management techniques is advantageous.
- A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for young children.
