What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toddler Teacher position at Happy Hearts Learning Center?
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for toddlers.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child's development
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and coordinate activities and events
- Maintain a clean and well organized classroom
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young children preferred.
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
- Patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with children
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education is a plus)
Skills:
- Childcare experience preferred
- Lesson planning skills a plus
- Knowledge of child welfare and early childhood development
