Happy Home Remodeling, llc is looking to hire an Office Assistant to join our office team. This flexible role will be onsite in our Appleton office. The Office Assistant will work directly with all our team members.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an office assistant position, detailed oriented, an excellent communicator, and eager to add value to the existing office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments and meetings.
- Maintain and organize project files, documents, and records.
- Communicate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to provide updates and gather information.
- Prepare and distribute project reports, invoices, and other documentation.
- Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is well-stocked and functioning.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and other correspondence in a professional manner.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks as needed.
- Assist with managing company finances, including communication with the bookkeeper, expense tracking, and budget preparation.
- Reconcile accounts and process payments to suppliers and subcontractors.
- Obtain proper construction permits.
- From time to time open the office each morning and close the office each evening.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in an administrative or assistant role,
- preferably in the construction or contracting industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
