What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teaching Assistant position at Happy Horizons Childcare Center?
Assist Teachers in class management, help with lunch breaks, do various jobs as needed,
Duties include but are not limited to - Sanitizing and Cleaning of the classroom, common areas and bathrooms. The Classroom must also be kept in a clean and orderly fashion at all times. Following the schedules and themes and incorporating Music, Reading, Art, Sensory Play, Dramatic Play and Fine Motor and Gross Motor (Physical) Activities into their Daily Routines and lessons.
All Employees will complete the Mandated Reporter Training, New Employee Orientation, Safety and Security Training and must continue to complete 30 hours of training every two years, 15 of which must be done in the first six months. CPR/ First Aid preferred but not required.
Assistant Teachers will communicate effectively with Co-Teachers and Staff and maintain communication with Directors.
Times - Monday - Friday
9:00am- 5:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
