A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RECEPTIONIST
As a Front Desk Receptionist, you play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our office. Each day, you ensure that our clients and their beloved dogs receive the best experience possible. With a warm smile, you greet every client, making them feel at ease, leaving their pets in our capable hands. Your highly motivated and efficient approach allows you to handle various essential tasks, such as answering phones, welcoming walk-in clients, providing top-notch customer service, managing reservations, conducting follow-ups, maintaining inventory, and processing invoices, payments, and enrollments.
Your flexibility shines through as you tackle various administrative duties as they arise and take pride in maintaining our reception and retail area. Your willingness to assist the Dog Care Services team with tasks-like preparing meals and medications, along with light-duty dog care tasks-fuels your daily joy in working with animals and providing fantastic service to our clients.
Typical Reception Shift Times (Weekend & Holiday Availability is Required):
- Weekday AM Shifts: 6a- 9:30a, 6:30a- 11:30a
- Weekday AM Shifts: 2p - 7pm, 3:30p - 6:30p
- Saturday & Sunday AM Shift: 7a - 11a
- Saturday & Sunday PM Shift: 2p - 6:30p
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A RECEPTIONIST
- Leadership skills, including the ability to train others
- Deep love for animals
- 1 years of experience providing customer service and processing payments
- Highly organized, with proficient multitasking abilities.
- Exemplary attention to detail is essential (a must!).
- Physical capability to handle dog breeds of all sizes.
- Willingness to assist the team with various tasks as needed.
- A basic understanding of dog behaviors is preferred.
- A high school diploma or GED is required; good math and sales skills would be beneficial.
Extreme attention to detail, diverse software proficiency, exemplary organizational skills, and a wealth of multitasking experience are MUSTS-non-negotiable.
