Child Care Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. This role involves caring for children of various ages, providing educational activities, and ensuring their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Implement educational programs that foster creativity, social skills, and cognitive growth.
• Provide a safe and clean environment for children, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Assist with daily routines including meal preparation, hygiene practices, and nap times.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of children's activities and developmental milestones.
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem.

Experience

• Previous experience in childcare settings such as daycare centers, preschools, or as a nanny is preferred.
• Familiarity with first aid practices is highly desirable.
• Strong background in caregiving for children of various ages.
• Ability to educate children through play-based learning methods.
• Experience in classroom settings or structured environments is a plus.
• Skills in babysitting or providing childcare services will be beneficial.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 15 per week
