Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Floor Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for our students, while also providing support and guidance to our staff. The Floor Supervisor will play a crucial role in maintaining the daily operations of our facility and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise staff in a childcare setting to ensure the highest level of care for students
- Develop and implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive and productive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers and caregivers to create engaging and educational activities for students
- Provide guidance and support to caregivers and teachers to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and education
- Assist with the supervision of students during activities and transitions
- Monitor and maintain a clean and organized facility to ensure a safe and healthy environment
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
- Develop and maintain relationships with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress and well-being
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to the care and education of students
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling and record-keeping as needed
- Other duties as assigned by management
Skills:
- Experience working with students and a deep understanding of classroom management
- Experience in childcare, nannying, or early childhood education
- Strong knowledge of childhood development and educational principles
- Ability to provide support and guidance to caregivers and teachers
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask as needed
- Special education experience is a plus
- Caregiving and educational experience is required
- Ability to maintain a positive and nurturing environment for students and staff
- Early childhood education and classroom management skills are necessary
- Ability to work effectively with staff and students of diverse backgrounds
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized facility
- Experience in daycares and childcare settings is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
