Job Overview
General Managers are ultimately responsible for the performance of their individual location and its staff. A successful General Manager has high attention to detail, the ability to motivate a team, and a second-to-none work ethic. General Managers’ actions and decisions are the driving factor in a store's revenues, expenses, and profitability.
A Typical Day
General Managers will start their day by planning out their team’s day. Walking the show floor, reviewing the delivery schedule, checking for new sales leads, taking a look at expired accounts, and of course setting some new goals. They will usually have a meeting to get the day going and check in a bonus progress.
A GM at Happy’s leads from the front, we don’t have a manager’s office. The manager will spend the rest of their day servicing customers, assisting the sales and collections teams, placing inventory orders, and checking in on their team along the way. The best GMs are the face of their location, the more customers’ names they know, the bigger their location is!
Other duties will include taking cash deposits to the bank, setting and reviewing employee hours, performing inventory checks, and enforcing company policy & procedure. While Happy’s has a model & program that works, our GMs have a lot of freedom to make decisions within that model. Behaving more as an operator than manager allows them to serve our customer quicker and more creatively!

The Requirements
Available – able to work the schedule hours.
Ex. Mon 9am-7pm, Tues OFF, Wed 9am-5pm, Thurs 9am-7pm, Fri 10am-8pm, Sat 8am-5pm, Sun OFF
Dependable – show up on time and work the entire shift.
Professional – behaving appropriately when at work.

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted.
A valid drivers’ license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
