Looking for the paw-fect position? We are looking for an extraordinary, energetic pet-lover to join our Happy Tails team. The pet care employee will be responsible for the safety of animals, cleaning animal quarters, exercising animals, monitoring health and behavior, and working closely with other employees.
Happy Tails Lodge is a boarding and daycare facility, grooming salon, and pet supply store in Great Falls, MT. We are locally owned and operated and focus on making the best experience for pets and pet owners alike. Our passion is to put the comfort and needs of our pets above all else in order to provide supreme, unsurpassed service.
Pet Care Specialist Responsibilities:
-Cleaning and maintaining animal quarters
-Effectively cleaning and sanitizing equipment and rooms
-Exercising animals as scheduled
-Monitoring and recording animal health and behavioral issues
-Playing and interacting with animals of all sizes and breeds both indoors and outdoors
-Adequately caring for pets
-Providing animal care activities including, but not limited to: feeding, watering, and cleaning rooms
-Working with fellow employees and pet owners with honesty and respect
-Other duties as assigned, including helping in another departments.
Pet Care Specialist Requirements:
-Experience working with animals preferred, but not required
-Must be able to lift animals of various sizes and heavy equipment
-Availability to work a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays is a MUST
-Excellent communication skills
-Attention to detail
-Must be able to work 10 hour shifts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
