Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a love for animals, especially dogs. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will interact with pet owners and their furry companions.
Duties
- Greet and assist clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage reservations
- Provide information about services offered and answer inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and retail store
Requirements
- Experience in a pet care facility is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries effectively
- Knowledge of basic animal handling and restraint techniques
- Ability to lift heavy objects when necessary
- Familiarity with pet grooming, dog training, or veterinary procedures is a plus
Hours
- Monday/Tuesday: 7:15am to 6pm (1 hour for lunch)
- Saturday (Every Other Week): 8am to 6pm
- Sunday: 3pm to 6pm
Note: This is not a standard desk job. It can be quite physical and involves handling animals of various sizes throughout our facility.
