Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Elder Care Assistant to provide essential support to seniors in their daily lives.
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
- Support clients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring when necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in elder care, assisted living, or home community care is preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client privacy.
- Ability to lift and assist clients safely while following proper techniques.
- Strong understanding of ADLs and patient care best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively with seniors, including those with developmental disabilities.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- A valid driver’s license may be required depending on job responsibilities.
