Job Title: Caregiver – In-Home Support – $16/hr – American Falls, ID
About the Role:
Happy to Help Caregiving is seeking reliable, compassionate individuals to join our caregiving team in American Falls. In this role, you’ll provide essential non-medical support to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and veterans—helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. If you’re responsible, caring, and ready to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
Job Responsibilities:
Daily duties may include:
- Personal care support including bathing, dressing, toileting, and hygiene assistance
- Companionship and engagement in conversation and simple activities
- Meal preparation and support with feeding if needed
- Light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, and general home tidiness
- Medication reminders (no handling or administering medications)
- Mobility and transfer assistance, including the use of mobility aids
- Transportation to doctor’s appointments, errands, or other outings
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Kind, patient, and trustworthy demeanor
- Experience is a plus, but not required
Position Details:
- Pay: $16 per hour
- Location: American Falls, ID and nearby rural areas
- Schedule: Flexible shifts available – full-time, part-time, evenings, and weekends
- Type: In-home, non-medical caregiving
