We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to join our team as the On-Call Caregiver in Pocatello. As an On-Call Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to clients in the comfort of their own homes. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Experience as CNA or similar medical experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to clients in accordance with their individual care plans.
- Must be prepared to drive as far as hamer, atomic city, or idaho falls in case of a call out.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.
- Accompany clients to appointments, outings, or social activities as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living spaces and doing laundry.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of care provided and any relevant observations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred but not required.
- Must be compassionate, patient, and reliable, with a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and environments.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Additional Information:
- This is an on-call position with flexible hours. Caregivers will be expected to be available to work certain hours within the week, as needed.
- Travel to clients' homes throughout the Pocatello and surrounding area is required.
- Training and ongoing support will be provided to ensure success in the role.
