We are seeking a compassionate Residential Care Assistant to provide support and assistance to residents in a residential care facility. The ideal candidate will assist residents with daily activities, provide emotional support, and ensure their safety and well-being.
1. Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
2. Help residents with mobility issues and provide assistance with walking or using mobility aids.
3. Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and administer medication .
4. Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship.
5. Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents.
6. Document and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to the appropriate staff.
7. Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals to ensure individualized care for residents.
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Prior experience in caregiving or residential care is preferred.
3. Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care and emotional support to others.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
6. Certification in First Aid and CPR.
7. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
