Job Overview
As a Barista at Haraz Coffee House, you will be the face of our brand, creating exceptional coffee beverages and providing top-notch customer service. You will play a key role in maintaining the welcoming and vibrant atmosphere of our Soho location, ensuring that every customer leaves with a great experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including specialty drinks, according to our high standards.
- Provide friendly, personalized service to every customer.
- Educate customers about our unique coffee offerings, including the origins and brewing methods.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the counter, equipment, and seating areas.
- Process payments accurately through the POS system.
- Restock supplies and ensure the coffee bar is well-prepared for service.
- Assist in daily operations, including opening and closing duties as needed.
- Uphold health and safety standards at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a barista or coffee-related role is preferred but not required.
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about our unique products.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
