Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and develop a team of baristas and shift leads
- Ensure operational efficiency, consistency, and customer satisfaction
- Oversee scheduling, inventory, and cost control to maximize profitability
- Maintain and enforce high standards of coffee quality and drink preparation
- Drive speed, efficiency, and accuracy during high-volume hours
- Create a positive, team-oriented work culture
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Develop and execute strategies to increase sales and customer retention
Qualifications
✅ 2 years of experience managing a high-volume coffee shop (Starbucks, Blue Bottle, or similar experience preferred)
✅ Strong ability to lead a team, manage schedules, and train baristas
✅ Experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments
✅ Knowledge of espresso extraction, milk steaming, and drink consistency
✅ Proven ability to optimize workflow and maintain efficiency
✅ Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build repeat business
✅ Ability to handle ordering, cost control, and financial management
✅ Bonus: Experience with specialty coffee brewing (pour-over, siphon, etc.)
