Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilizing Aloha POS system for processing orders and payments.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations based on their preferences.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours while maintaining quality service.
- Uphold café standards by adhering to time management practices and ensuring timely preparation of orders.
Skills
- Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong cash handling skills with an understanding of retail math principles.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele.
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to promote menu items effectively while assisting customers.
