Responsibilities:
- Perform routine laboratory tests (HPLC, GC etc.) and experiments related to drug formulation, development, and quality control.
- Analyze chemical compounds, raw materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Assist in the preparation and calibration of laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Conduct stability studies and assist in the preparation of related reports.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory activities and experiments.
- Ensure laboratory safety protocols are followed, including proper handling and disposal of chemicals.
- Support senior chemists and team members with various research and development projects.
- Participate in the review of technical documents, including SOPs, validation protocols, and test reports.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to laboratory processes and analytical methods.
- Prepare samples and assist in the development of analytical testing methods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, to ensure product compliance.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of previous laboratory experience is required.
- Strong understanding of basic chemistry principles and laboratory techniques.
- Proficiency in the use of laboratory instruments (e.g., HPLC, GC, UV-VIS spectrophotometer) is preferred.
- Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to work in a regulated environment and adhere to safety standards.
