Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, coordinating orders with internal and external suppliers.
- Assist in organizing and testing samples within the laboratory.
- Support the process of outsourcing sample shipments and receiving.
- Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of laboratory equipment.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of equipment (e.g., pipettes) in partnership with the engineering team.
- Verify and update logbooks and compliance-related documents.
- Carry out basic laboratory tasks related to biological production and testing.
- Promote a safe lab environment by overseeing sample tracking, cleanliness, and organization.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Assist in revising and improving standard operating procedures with supervisors and quality teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (e.g., biology, biochemistry, molecular biology).
- At least 1 year of experience in a relevant technical or scientific roles preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Able to manage tasks and project timelines effectively.
- Ability to work well within a team and manage laboratory operations.
