Job Description
I. Education :
a. Graduate from accredited ultrasound program
b. ARDMS registry preferred or complete within one year of employment
II. Experience :
a. Previous experience in the medical field is preferred but not required.
b. Basic knowledge of the use and operation of general office equipment (i.e. phone, FAX, PC, and copier).
c. Working with the public in a courteous and professional manner.
III. Necessary Skills :
a. Ability to maintain a positive attitude and provide great customer service under stressful situations.
b. Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and pleasant manner in both verbal and written form.
c. Ability to multi-task.
d. Ability to adapt quickly to change.
e. Ability to work both independently and with physicians and co-workers.
f. Ability to use and manage time efficiently.
g. Ability to follow the direction of physicians and supervisory personnel.
General Summary of Duties
This position will perform a variety of vascular technologist duties necessary to the daily operation of the Vascular Lab. These duties will include but are not limited to performing vascular ultrasounds.
